§ 66-10. Special agreements for collection.

  • Whenever or wherever there exist exceptional conditions of ownership, tenancy, occupancy or use affecting the collection of garbage and the collection of the rates and charges imposed by the city or resulting in heavy accumulation or necessitating frequent collection of garbage, the city manager, with the approval of the city commission, is hereby authorized to make such charges to the owner or occupant of the premises as shall be necessary to defray the cost of collection of such garbage or trash, which charges shall be in addition to other charges and shall be made as nearly uniform as practical and appropriate to other charges for similar services.
